ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

Who are You?

You are a confident, motivated, creative thinker and proven problem solver with an eye for detail and relevant work and/or internship experience in the communications field who is seeking an exceptional career and growth opportunity in healthcare, wellness, finance, and corporate communications.

Requirements:

  • Previous PR, social media or marketing experience, either as an intern or in an entry level position

  • BA or BS from an accredited college/university

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Passion for the PR industry and its best practices

  • Understanding of social media and experience working within the space

  • Interest in healthcare and wellness

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment across multiple accounts

  • Ability to manage strict timelines and demanding deadlines

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Cision and social media platforms required

What will You Do Daily?

Account coordination:

  • Research for client projects and proposals

  • Media research for editorial calendars, pitch opportunities and contact list development

  • Creation and maintenance of media lists

  • Daily media monitoring, clipping and reporting

  • Drafting internal and client-facing communications such as call agendas and recaps

  • Drafting press materials, pitch letters and reactive media responses

  • Proactive media relations – pitching traditional media and bloggers, developing relationships and identifying new outlets

  • Creative ideation and sourcing

  • Assembly and coordination of editor deliveries and events

  • General account administration

Social media support:

  • Social media management and content creation for agency and client accounts

  • Community engagement across all agency platforms

Intern management:

  • Supervision and mentoring of interns

  • Intern recruitment

Senior Account Executive—Beauty

Requirements:

Growing boutique marketing communications agency, specializing in beauty, consumer healthcare, lifestyle, and corporate communications, seeks a motivated Senior Account Executive for an exceptional career and growth opportunity.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum three (3) to four (4) years of public relations agency experience with a focus on consumer beauty. The individual must have excellent beauty media contacts, particularly among consumer print and digital media and national/regional broadcast, lifestyle editors, bloggers and influencers, as well as a proven track record of generating media leads and coverage. Experience and working knowledge of social media platforms, influencers and marketing campaigns is critical.

This role is client facing and candidates must be polished and confident in presenting ideas both in writing and person. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and experience developing and managing budgets is required.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, a well-read creative thinker and a proven problem solver who is able to multi-task and prioritize internal and client needs. The individual must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, highly-collaborative environment where we take our work seriously, but not ourselves.

This role may require some travel within the United States.

The Senior Account Executive’s daily responsibilities will include:

  • Heavy media relations including

    • Driving the team’s proactive and reactive media relations efforts including lead and placement generation on behalf of clients

    • Concepting and drafting media strategies, press materials, pitch letters

    • Heavy print, online and broadcast media outreach via phone, email and in-person, and placement/segment coordination

    • Extensive research and management of media lists across multiple categories

    • Social media management including moderation, content development and reporting

  • Social media for clients and agency including

    • Contributing to social media strategy

    • Moderation

    • Content development

    • Reporting

  • Client contact and counsel including

    • Daily communications and updates on programs and client deliverables

    • Persuasive writing including memos, creative concepts and strategic direction

    • Leading aspects of weekly client conference calls

    • Results reporting

    • Contributing to strategic PR program development and participation in formal presentation to clients

  • Program execution including

    • Development and driving of timelines

    • Creative deliveries from concept to execution

    • Event management

    • Partner and vendor communications and management

    • Spokesperson and KOL management

    • Contract coordination

  • Supervision of account executives and account coordinators

    • Strong mentorship including coaching, providing clear and concise direction and guidance to promote growth

    • Project management

  • Interest in the beauty, health and lifestyle markets

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Efficiency in MS Office

  • Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in a related major at a university/college, or a recent graduate
